Today I'm back to talk about games online, and the topic
it's the funniest games ever made: card games!
A card game is played with a deck or pack of playing cards
which are identical in size and shape. The first playing cards appeared in the
ninth century in China.
Any specific card game imposes restrictions on the number of
players. Usually you will find games between one-player and two-player, but there
are a lot of multi-player games too.
A new card game starts in a simple way, as someone's
invention, or as a modification of an existing game.
Famous games are:
Pyramid Solitaire, a variant of solitaire.
Spider Solitaire, with two-deck Solitaire games.
Solitaire was very popular since ever, but it became the most famous game when it was
coming installed in all the Windows OS since the 90's. And we never get enough
of playing it!
In some countries solitaire is also called patience, the
purpose of patience/solitaire generally involves manipulating a layout of cards
with a goal of sorting them in some manner.
The game may be German in origin, there is a tradition in
Germany to use "patience" as a guide to the future.
The Klondike way of playing patience is the most famous,
which is played with a 52 card-deck.
